Neal Cappellino

Producer/Engineer Neal Cappellino has called Nashville home for more than 30 years. With a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, he has built his career on empathy for both sides of the glass, helping guide platinum artists as well as independent talent with a solid understanding of the creative and technical. A 5x Grammy® Award recipient, including for Best Engineered & Best Bluegrass Album on Alison Krauss & Union Stations ‘Paper Airplane’, his credits also include Vince Gill, Darius Rucker, Avicii, Willie Nelson, The Del McCoury Band, Joan Osborne, Dolly Parton, and The Gabe Dixon Band. He is the owner and principal engineer of The Doghouse Studio and is a member of The Recording Academy, the Audio Engineering Society, and Leadership Music ’15. Neal is an educator and mentor within the industry with a philosophy toward giving back. He previously served on the board of directors for The Melodic Caring Project, a non-profit organization that dedicates live-streamed music events to the hospital rooms of critically ill children.
